Thierry Escaich makes his Berliner Philharmoniker debut when he performs Saint-Saëns ‘Organ’ Symphony in three concerts at the Berliner Philharmonie on 24, 25 and 26 September 2015. Zubin Mehta conducts a programme that is completed by Schmidt Notre Dame: Entr’acte & Carnival Music and Korngold Violin Concerto with soloist Gil Shaham.
Escaich performs Saint Saëns ‘Organ’ Symphony several times this season, including two performances in October with the Orchestre de Paris at the Philharmonie de Paris for the inauguration of their organ.
On 30 September, Escaich performs the world premiere of his Prologue et Litanies pour un jubilé during a concert at Strasbourg Cathedral .
