Thierry Escaich’s new string sextet, L’Aube exaltée, receives its world premiere at the Festival de Pâques Aix-en-Provence in Le Grand Théâtre de Provence on 18 April 2017. The new work is performed by Renaud Capuçon & Guillaume Chilemme, violin, Marie Chilemme & Adrien La Marca, viola, and Christian-Pierre La Marca & Edgar Moreau, cello.
The concert, at 8.30pm, is preceded that evening by an Escaich portrait concert at the Conservatory Darius-Milhaud at 6pm. Escaich joins the Wanderer Trio and Claire-Marie Le Guay to present a varied programme including two of his own works, Choral’s Dream and Lettres mêlées.
